Professional liability insurance is provided by Versicherergemeinschaft für Steuerberater und Wirtschaftsprüfer (insurer community for economic auditing and fiduciary services), Dotzheimer Str. 23, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany. The territorial scope of the insurance covers activities in member countries of the European Union and meets the requirements of § 54 of the Public Accountants Ordinance (WPO) in conjunction with the Ordinance on Professional Liability Insurance of Auditors and Certified Accountants (WPBHV).
Requirement to information under § 36 (1) VSBG (“Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz”): Consumer Dispute Resolution Act):
BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration body (“Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle”).
